okay so I've ranted about my "Simon Riley is a Dork" philosophy, now I bring you...
John MacTavish is a NERD.
I see how he's often pinned as the rambunctious "airhead" of the team, and that may be true to some to degree but he's not STUPID.
Listen, this man is a demolition expert. That involves all kinds of maths, measurements, electrical work, mechanics, technical shit I'm not well-versed in, etc. Demolitions experts have to be pretty damn smart to be considered experts.
I think Johnny was 100% a robotics kid growing up. Maybe even dabbled in coding and mathematics club. I seriously think he was one of the nerdy kids in highschool/secondary school.
And though that part of him is still very much there, it's quieter now. Shrouded by professionalism and experience and maturity. But then, sometimes when he's had a few too many drinks, or if Simon plucks just the right strings, he'll go on these long tangents about the different mathematics, or about this robot he built by hand in highschool by himself in his parents' garage-turned-robotics-lab— the garage lab that he accidentally set on fire and blew up a can of old hairspray his sister had left on his desk. (He totally wasn't using it as a blowtorch to kill some poor unsuspecting bug, his sister just left the spray there and he didn't notice it. That small burn scar on his left hand is completely unrelated.)
And of course, Simon will sit quietly and patiently, watching the way Johnny's eyes light up and his face gets more and more expressive, arms and hands moving wildly, animatedly. He's so passionate, it makes Simon's eyes soften with affection.
And when Johnny's especially focused on the blueprints in front of him during a mission, clock ticking and pressure weighing down on him, he's a sight to behold. Somehow, that's when he works best. Brows pinched, lips pressed in a tight line as his brain works over the details, pieces a plan together as he mutters under his breath, pen scratching on the paper, recites numbers for the other team members to remember. And then his brows smooth out and he gets this giddy look as things click together in his mind and his head snaps up and he gets to work— John knows to let him take the lead here, and quietly notes to himself that John MacTavish would make for a great Captain down the line.
Sometimes when he can't sleep or his mind's a little too loud, he'll sit up at the little desk in his barracks with the dim lamp illuminating a worn-out blue sketchbook, pencil eraser trapped between his teeth as he scans his old notes and sketches and unresolved equations. Mundane math and physics that doesn't take a lot of mental power, but still relaxes him nonetheless.
In addition, he'd be good at sketching. Specifically blueprints and modeling. Dimensional stuff and perspective. Finds a quiet corner somewhere on base— usually that old tree out by the dirt track— and sketches away models, some of which are totally unrealistic but he doesn't care. He'll sketch a giant sci-fi atomic canon model with realistic mathematics and semi-viable science behind it if he wants to.
When he needs to memorize a new model, he'll draw each individual piece, each little working part as if he's dissecting it and mapping it out in his brain. Sometimes when Simon flips through Johnny's sketchbooks, he'll find 10+ pages filled with the same model, over and over, and it's like he can see every thought process, every reasoning, every time Johnny clicks something together in his mind.
Johnny is brilliant. He's a scientist, an expert in his field. He's a total nerd and I love him for it.
(His average shower thoughts are either complex science that would give the average person a migraine, or Simon's eyes. No in between.)
NSFW:
This time, the tables are turned. Johnny will be mid-ride on top of Simon in bed, purposely distracting himself in his mind to hold off his own release (bc it's a competition and he'll be damned if he finishes first) and then suddenly he'll remember a bomb blueprint he was deconstructing the previous day and he'll plop down, sitting up stock straight as he curses and something makes a PING! sound in his brain and suddenly he's leaning over while Simon raises a questioning brow, hands still firmly gripping Johnny's hips as he snatches his notebook and pen from his table side drawer, flops the book unceremoniously on top of Simon's chest, hunches over, and begins writing and muttering to himself.
And Simon just waits, halfway between disgruntled and amused. Just sorta resorts to grinding his hips upward— to which Johnny firmly plants his hips downward, keeping them still, and Simon just sighs and waits some more.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Simon's in love with this idiot, don't let him fool you. I love them a healthy amount.
#rip john mactavish you would have loved and hated homemade USA fireworks that blow a hole in the ground and fire directly at you#shoutout to my uncle#he's the one who blew a hole in the ground for 4th of july this year#its like a foot deep idk how he's still alive#captain mactavish mentioned#simon riley is in love with johnny mactavish#ghost cod#soap cod#cod headcanons#soapghost#cod fics#ghoap

Thinking of John Price being married to the prettiest wife. He invites Soap, Ghost, and Gaz over to his house where his pretty girl is sitting in the pool in the smallest bikini.
Getting all flustered because of the other guys but Price kisses her and says it's fine.
Ghost especially can't help but stare. He's never seen something so pretty in his life. Price knows you like him, you like the masked brooding L.T.
You sweetly ask for permission and of course Price grants it. You get to flirt with Ghost and hold on to his muscular arm while you try to convince him to get in the pool. However you just end up beneath him on a pool chair as he touches you.
"You take good care of your husband, love?"
"Mhm, I do. Let daddy fill me up all the time"
"You got room for one more?"
Letting him fuck you as Soap and Gaz try not to stare but they sit on the edge of the pool with their cocks hard. Price watching as he shamelessly strokes his cock, asking you how you like Ghost's dick in your tummy because it's so big.
Ghost fucking you in the backyard of your husband's house as the rest of em watch, trying not to be pervs. But you're just a sweet pretty little thing :( they can't help it.
Ghost is pounding you, making you moan so loudly. Good thing there's a tall fence surrounding the yard. He's got you pinned under his large frame, not even undressed.
Soap and Gaz cum in their swim trunks and Price's shoots over his happy trail on his stomach as Ghost pumps you full, leaving you dripping with his cum. You already know Price is going to want to fuck it back into you tonight along with his own.
Ghost was sweet though. Sent you flowers when he was away because he didn't want you to feel used even if you did want his cock anyway...
An: I don't know what came over me guys <3

Going back to the idea of 141 protecting accused reader
Check CW in tags
Price collects the names of everyone involved. Who accused you, who took you in, questioned you and anyone who laid their hands on you. Although Kate had nothing to do with it, the Americans, those fucking shadows overstepped. The best Kate can hope for is to avoid a charge with aiding in a war crime. Joining Kyle in interviews to find out the specifics. Who was cruelest? Did anyone touch you sexually? Were you starved? Questions they knew would overwhelm you if prompted.
Once Price’s job is done, Kyle starts to collect all the intel with a simple name. Digging into the lives of everyone responsible for breaking you as well as their loved one. It doesn’t take Kyle long to start planting things to make their lives go nuclear. Evidences of affairs that were AI generated sent to the wives waiting back home with their husbands attached with apology letters from the mistress. Insisting that she didn’t know he was married and to please use this as evidence if she chooses to divorce him.
Simon is the judge, the jury and executioner. Most of the shadows steered clear after everything came to the surface that you were truly innocent. That doesn’t stop him from beating them bloody during sparring. Challenging any one of them. Embarrassing them in front of their peers only to catch them off guard later in the night. Carving their skin, taking their fingernails as trophies. Having to refrain from showing you that he was giving you justice in the only way he knew how.
And then there was Johnny….
Sweet Johnny became your primary care taker. Isn’t phased when you need help bathing or going to the bathroom. Johnny who administered your pain medicine around the clock. Who was your advocate about dealing with the doctors and medical staff when you felt too overwhelmed. Who scheduled your medical appointments for your burns, lacerations and the other injuries and illnesses you sustained. Severed ACL. Upper respiratory infection. Kidney infection. UTIs from lack of hygiene items. Never once making you feel embarrassed. Getting you in touch with a therapist.
All of them doing their part to help you in anyway they can. All of them promising to never let you away from them again.

Soap's journal entries concerning dogs. Typed out under the cut in case they're difficult to read.
Consider me a cat man now.
We overcame ultranationalists, chopper crashes, danger close with gunships, but a goddamn dog is what'll get me into an infirmary? Rabies, ridiculous. What a waste of time. Obviously can't tell Price or Gaz. Nikolai seems capable of keeping a secret. Probably keeps vials of vaccine vaulted with manifest intel, secretive bastard.
--
And no, I haven't exactly been on my booster shots. Think Nikolai said every two years but didn't think I'd be back in Russia so bloody soon. So yeah, was happy to follow Price and Roach over the net. Not just because it meant I was far from the mutts, but because I got to listen to the two of them working together like we once did. There was the same option: take out the target or let them him pass. Nice to hear Price taking Roach under his wing. Know the effect it can have.

I 100% believe that Kyle “Gaz” Garrick is a germaphobe
The kicker? He doesn’t know that he is
He grew up with his mom always cleaning, even if it looked spotless because she was convinced that there were germs
So now Gaz keeps those habits he learned from his mom with him
He comes in being outside and immediately wash his hands because “you don’t know what could have hit my hands”
He throws away food that are about to hit their expiration dates because just the thought of food past that date makes him physically ill
Gaz wipes down almost any surface before placing his things down purely because there could be something deadly there
The 141 never found an issue with his until the day that Gaz flipped his lid because Soap grabbed a chip off his plate, without washing his hands, and they all had to convince Kyle not to throw out his food because it was not “contaminated with whatever germs Soap brought inside” (They couldn’t stop him and he threw the plate out anyways)

No mention of Gaz even though hes the main character since mw ‘19. Activision isnt hiding their blatant racism anymore.

Can I request TF141 x Reader where they’re on a mission til suddenly Y/n got into a fight by the enemy. Til she went trigger bringing out the savage beast and started to kill the enemy who get into her way. TF141 are shock what they’re seeing. They try to calm Y/n but she lost control and about to attack them. Price brought out a record tape that Lasewell give it to him and told him to play it for Y/n calm down just in case. Once Y/n hear the lullaby song the voice from her mother she started to cry and passed out.
Take all the time you need. No need to rush. Btw I love your work. I read all of them.
Ah, thank you for the request. I'm glad you enjoy my writing @silverwolf-108 I realized that you'd sent in a second and third request so I thought I needed to hop to it and finish this one for you!
A/n: I made the tape an ipod instead, I hope you don't mind, it's a bit easier to play quickly in a frantic situation.
Also thank you for being so patient with me, you are an angel 😊😅
The battle had gone on long and hard. Bullets sprayed across the field, wind whipping around you and the boys. Ghost was hidden back against a shed, practically pinned down and unable to move while Johnny bled out. He cupped the sergeants cheek to try and keep him awake, his heart beating out of his chest.
"Y/n!! Find cover!" Simon urges.
He turns back to Johnny, trying to keep him awake.
Your heart pounds out of your chest. Everything is a blur and it's way too much for you. Too stimulating. A bullet whizzes by your hair, blood rushing through your ears.
Your fingers start to itch on your gun, wanting to pull the trigger on these motherfuckers and give them a piece of your fucking mind.
You look back at your team, trying to hide for cover as well. Gaz is tucked into Price's shoulder, hiding against the ground to try and survive the bullet spray.
"Johnny!! Open your eyes sergeant!! We're not done here!"
You see Simon in desperation and Johnny's limp body. It's all too much. Your heart lurches in your chest and you feel like you're going to puke.
Blood drips from Johnny's chest and you lose it. Seeing his blood makes you violent. Animalistic.
You regrip your gun and run from your hiding spot.
"Soldier!!" Price yells at you.
You can't hear, blood rushes in your ears. You throw a smoke grenade one way and take out the two soldiers closest to you. You disregard their fallen bodies and run into the smoke.
You raise the stock of your gun and hit another man upside the head and send him down to the ground.
You drop your gun and grab your knife, grabbing another man by the throat and carving it out and up his jaw. Blood spilled across your face and you kick his body away.
They try to shoot you through the smoke, bullets whizzing and whipping by you but never touching.
You shoot two more men and advance on the others.
Everything is red. Murder and blood was all too much. Too stimulating. Your fingers itch as the smoke clears. Another soldier attempts to take hold of you, your blade meeting him first, followed by you snapping his neck before he has the chance to bleed out.
Another soldier grabs you but you sink your blade into his shoulder, chopping and hacking away at the spot before drawing a deep line across the expanse of his chest.
You don't stop to catch your breath, throwing your knife into the forehead of another man.
Two men grab you and pull you back. You snarl, kicking in the dirt and grab another knife, slicing it into one of the men's wrists and pulling him around and swinging him into the other men.
"I will not let you touch my family." You growl before sinking your blade into his chest and twisting it around in the cavity. The second man tries to get up and run but you slice his leg and slam your blade into the back of his head, blood spilling and splattering across the ground.
The 141 watches in horror and shock. The men that just moments ago were about the kill them all were now being demolished by you. What had happened.
Simon watches, honestly impressed. Though he'd kick your butt for pulling such a stunt and putting yourself in the way like that.
He clutches Johnny tightly to his chest, another bullet whipping past his head before you rip the man's gun from his hands and smash the side right into his face.
Another bullet whizzes by and Price pulls Gaz against his chest, breathing heavy. "It'll be ok, it'll be ok." He reminds Gaz, watching you from where they were hiding with shock and is just as impressed as Simon. Although he sees where your safety is in immediate danger.
Your heart is still beating out of your chest even when things slow and the soldiers are gone.
Using the soldiers gun you shoot down more of the soldiers until the troops begin to slow in numbers.
The last of the soldiers run at you and you hit him with the stock, slamming him on the ground and stomping on his head, cracking it and splattering more blood across the ground.
Price sits up and looks at you, he's not sure if he should congratulate you or slap you over the head.
You just stand there, hunched over and breathing heavily. Your fingers itch, bloody blade still clutched in your hand while you try to recover some semblance of thought.
Gaz gets up from his spot and rushes out to see if you're ok. "Y/n, wh-what was that??"
His footsteps make your head twitch. His hand grazes your shoulder and you push him back, throwing him into the dirt.
Price grabs you and pulls you into a roll with him, ripping you away from Gaz. Your blade drops from your hands and narrowly misses Gaz's eye, slicing a cut against his forehead.
Price is already reacting when he sees you climb on top of Gaz and raise your blade. Gaz tries to kick you off, trying to get away.
You snarl at him, your eyes are dark and he can see that you're not in there, not fully present right now. His heart lurches when the blade starts to come down and he scrunches his eyes tightly.
Price tries to hold you down while you scream and kick and squirm. You hit him with all your might, trying to take him down but he's just so much stronger than you.
Price firmly but lovingly holds you against him, shielding you from the world.
"I'll bloody murder you!!" You scream, trying to bite him.
You grew distressed and uncomfortable in his arms. Too tight, tol restricting, to unsafe. You scream again, trying to kick and punch and spit.
"It's ok y/n, it's ok, it's just us. It's just us." He tries to soothe you with his voice but it's not affective.
You continue to kick and squirm, hitting him in the shoulder and trying to bite his arm.
And then he remembers protocol. He'd been given a rundown on this when you'd joined the 141.
"Gaz, check my bag!"
Gaz whines, clutching his bleeding forehead but rushes to complete the task and searches Price's bag. "When you find and old ipod let me know."
Gaz keeps digging until he finds the phone at 100 percent. "Got it."
"Play the first song, now!"
"Is now the time for songs, captain??"
"Kyle Garrick do it now!!"
Gaz is shaking as he presses play and a soft moldy starts. He holds it's closer to you and your fighting starts to slow. Your nails dig into Price's forearm and your bottom lip quivers.
You go limp and burst into sobs. Hot, wet tears flow down your face and your breathing gets faster. You cling to Price now instead of trying to fight him.
You clutch his gear, trying to breath through heavy tears.
Price runs his hand over your head. "It's ok sergeant, take a deep breath soldier. Take a deep breath."
You whimper and exhaustion floods your body, and your eyes close.
Gaz pauses the music as you fall asleep in Price's arms, curled up in his safety and his warmth.
"What... Just happened??"
"Classified sergeant. But it's over now." He strokes your hair gently. "Now we need to get both Y/n and Johnny out of here now."
Simon comes over, still a little stunned with a shivering, weak Johnny in his arms.
They all move to the evac site where they meet medical. They take both of you and fly their soldiers back to base.
Price is nervous for you to wake up, but he sits the boys down for a chat to try and explain what happened as much as he can. it brings a bit of light to the subject, but doesn't change the fact that Ghost and Gaz didn't see it coming and are a stunned.
Ghost had never seen anything like it. The absolute rage that drove you into that battle like a madwoman.
Nonetheless they were all happy that they survived, it was all thanks to you.
You woke up a day later, exhausted and tired, but alive. You didn't all remember what happened. You remember you were fighting, and then you were cradled in Price's arms. Looking back on it felt like a mindless blur.
You slowly sat up, seeing small wounds of yours patched and stitched.
In the next bed lay Johnny, out cold with bandages tightly wrapped around his chest.
The door opened and you snapped up to look as Price, Ghost and Gaz come in.
"Guys!" You smile and hold your arms out for hugs. Price hugs you tightly, kissing your forehead. "I'm so glad you're alright."
Ghost pats your head and Gaz also hugs you.
You notice the bandage on his forehead and brush your thumb over it. You don't like to see them hurt.
"Who did this to you, Gaz?"
Gaz smiles awkwardly. "Just some guy on the field, but with how you were hacking around I think you got him."
You clutched your head when you felt a sharp headache come on. "I... I don't remember much... I'm sorry."
Price takes your hand and squeezes it. "You were very brave y/n, you saved our asses back there. You don't have to remember it for it to have happened."
You look up at him and nod. "Thank you."
Ghost moves closer to you and grumbles under his breath. "I don't know what the bloody fuck you were doin', but you could have gotten yourself killed!!" He sighs and squeezes you in a tight hug, surprising you.
"So bloody glad you're alive. You hear me??"
You hug him back and smile. "I hear you lieutenant."
He pulls away and leans over the other bed, clutching Johnny's limp hand in his own.
"What about Johnny??" You ask.
They all look over at Johnny who is still unconscious and breathing quietly. The heartbeat monitor near his bedside plays in soft smooth rhythms.
"Johnny is alright. Lost a lot of blood and needs rest, but he is doing ok."
You sigh in relief. Price helps you off your bedside and you shake out your sore limbs. "I think I'm gonna go rest in my room for a bit... Thank you."
"Of course sergeant, call us if you need us."
"Will do Captain."
You headed down to your room, still with a headache you crawled into your nice warm bed, and drifted asleep. The anxiety and overstimulation got to you sometimes on the field, reminding you of things and sending you into overdrive fight mode.
But I guess this time it really did save your asses. Johnny doesn't remember anything, but he'll thank you for saving them regardless.
And they all lived happily ever after, I hope you like it 😊

Hi regarding your Haunts post. It was so cute! Ghost got immediate brownie points for taking care of Soaps sister, I hope the rest of the group leave needing a change of cloths.
Haunts are usually seasonal right? (Idk I’m not American) So Ghost could be working at it whilst on leave as a favor or it could be one of those community outreach/recruitment things the army sometimes hosts or a family fair/expo they also attend.
What would everyone’s costumes be?
Would there be a competition on who could get the most scares? (Excluding ghost) who would win?
If Soap joined Ghost the next year would they do a couples costume?
Anyway cool post thank you for sharing it.
thank you!!! :D and yeah, ghost might be dressed as a crazed masked killer but hes not gonna just let this kid sit in the middle of a dark maze with a bum ankle lol he might play a monster but hes not actually one. and while its against policy to stalk guests through the whole grounds (something something harrassment something something liability blah blah blah), price lets this one slide because he heard maggie backstage and was very much not impressed. gaz and roach might have joined ghost in the stalking. just a little ^-^
and yeah, most haunts (at least in the US) are seasonal! they typically run from sometime in september through halloween or occasionally early november. there are a few year round houses thought! a local haunt in my city actually runs all year, and its located inside a mall! but youre right, he could just be on leave for a month or so to help out with community outreach! i think id want the rest of the riley family to be alive in that case just so he and tommy could cause a ruckus together XD
as for costumes... i definitely see ghost as a slasher villain type character, sort of in the veins of jason voorhees or michael myers. its probably cliche but i think it fits the vibes! gaz would kill (hee hee) as a vampire, either in just stage makeup or full special effects and prosthetics. price is probably either a werewolf or in a ghillie suit for jumpscaring. nikolai doesnt work as a scare actor himself (he works backstage) but if he was forced to, hed want to be a victim lol. laswell is a mad scientist type, no question. roach pulls of a zombie way too well. once she joins the haunt, maggie would be a slasher too as ghost's protege. (dont tell anyone but he teared up a little when she told him.) if soap joined the team, hed probably work backstage with nik, and like nik he'd want to be a victim XD
oh for sure theres a competition for the most scares, and theres also a competition for the most creative scares! like you said, ghost wins the most scares almost every year, but roach has come very very close many times! hes a sneaky little bug, and he always catches people completely off guard :D the most creative scare the last year went to nikolai, who did some wizardry with the lights and sound effects and nearly gave price a heart attack.
a trophy is waiting for anyone who manages to scare laswell. no one has ever been able to claim it skfjhsdlkfhsdl
OHHHH ABSOLUTELY GHOAP WOULD!! i love that :DDD i think the whole haunt has a costume contest for the end of the season afterparty, and its the most ridiculous thing ever. ghost gets soap to come as his plus one, and its adorable! idk what their costumes would be tho so if anyone has suggestions please let me know!

check tags for warnings
In the mood to write angst. Imagine you’re the conscientious observer who accidentally sees how your team talks about you behind your back.
Your morals were… complicated. You didn’t believe in killing anyone. Your faith told you that killing someone is wrong and even if it’s to save your life, handling a gun is something that doesn’t sit well with you. You’ve been to gun ranges. Mandatory for your position in the military that you have basic fire arm knowledge. But having something in your hands that could so easily take a life made you uneasy.
You were pescatarian, but tried to limit meat. Cried anytime you saw chickens in those trucks heading toward their demise. You fed stray cats around your house back home. You tried to be kind and cherished life in all most of its forms. The exception being garlic butter shrimp that was too good to give up and anytime of bug resembling a cock roach. And yes, palmetto bugs were still cock roaches.
And wasps.
Fuck wasps.
At the same time, you were pro-choice. Initially, you were pro-choice for other women, but you didn’t think you would have the strength to get an abortion. It wasn’t until you were holding your friend’s hand as she got her D&C that your views on your own body autonomy changed. It didn’t have to be medical to be necessary.
But you still refused to hold a weapon. Which is why even though you were a very talented medic, you were always judged for not carrying any sort of defense while in the field.
But no one on base would dare say anything to you about it. At least not to your face…
You got stuck instructing a training seminar when your phone continued to buzz in your back pocket. But even with the consistent messages, you didn’t falter by showing the newest members how to give basic first aid until health could arrive.
Nearly two hours later, you finally fish your phone out to see what’s going on.
Dozens of text messages in a group chat between you, Captain Price, Johnny, Kyle and Simon. You had gotten close to them over the last few months. You were halfway through your contract and were already dreading leaving knowing they were staying behind until the job is done.
You open it, your phone taking you to the first unread message.
Cpt.: Hows the arm healing up?
Soap: Fine. Hen did a good job of keeping the sutures nice and even. Should barely scar.
Gaz: Wouldn’t have a scar if she just fucking carried.
Soap: You think she honestly would even know what to do with a gun if you gave her one Garrick 😂
Ghost: Still think she’s a liability. Someone who won’t raise arms against an enemy isn’t meant to be on the team.
Cpt: Already tried. Laswell says we need the numbers. As long as she does her job there’s nothing I can do. We can’t be down a medic and it’s either her or nothing.
You shook as you continued reading the conversation.
Liability. Coward. It went on and on about how weak you were. Why couldn’t you just carry a small pistol instead of expecting everyone else to keep you safe.
It then switched to your personality. No one should be that happy. Annoying. A yapper. Couldn’t get a word in most of the time.
On and on they went until you realized they spoke so freely because they didn’t realize you were in this group chat. What did they say when you weren’t around?
You felt like a fool having extending more than just trying to be a civil coworker, but a friend. Taking on tasks that weren’t your responsibility simply to help them.
Getting a floral arrangement delivered for Johnny’s sister after she had given birth. Talking on the phone to the nursing home where Price’s mother resided trying to sort out her insurance. Taking priority Kyle when he was injured after falling out of a plane (both times) over your other patients. And always having the electric kettled going in the morning so Simon could have his tea without waiting too long.
You were helpful. Just because you had one boundary didn’t mean their words held any merit. But still you couldn’t help the deep feeling of just… betrayal? Rejection? You weren’t sure there was a word fitting enough to sum up how utterly stupid you felt.
Maybe they were right. This wasn’t a civilian setting. This wasn’t just life and death for your patients, but for you. You were out in the field with no form of protection except from others.
You weren’t abandoning your morals. You couldn’t. Not when every fiber of your being told you to remain steadfast. There was only one solution.
You didn’t have much to pack. Uniform was issued to you. Your stethoscope and some other tools came out of your own pocket. Your laptop, phone, charges. You packed all your lounging clothes and miraculously everything fit into a military duffle. Which wasn’t actually anything impressive given how big those things are.
You were confident in your decision even if it made you feel like a failure.
As you stood outside the office door you returned back to the group chat. One by one you proceeded to block all of them. You knew when you left the group they would know that the notification would pop up and they either wouldn’t give a shit that you finally knew what the actually thought of you or they tried messaging you to make amends to cover their asses. You weren’t sure which was worse.
Once you had blocked the last one, you left and knocked on the door that you had been idling in front of. A faint ‘come in’ was granted before you walked through.
“Hey, Kate.” You greeted. “Can we talk?”

Been re-playing 09 recently, and like what if what if—
(the idea is low-key out there but just hear me out, also MAJOR ANGST, MCD, trigger warning/content warning for implied/briefly mentioned s*ic*de)
Price knows that he's in a vídeo game. Like, he figured it out after the first couple of resets,—after the first few playthroughs of the campaign. He has sentience across MW’s 1-3, while everyone else doesn’t.
No matter what he does, the outcome always remains the same.
Like a broken tape recorder, history repeats itself.
Forced to sit by and watch as his men die, again and again.
With their being absolutely fucking nothing he can do to stop it.
The plot is predetermined, and the programming just won’t allow it.
No matter how many times he tries to fight it, no matter how many times he tries to scream or say something off script, or move his body in a different way, it’s all futile.
First, it’s always Gaz.
Killed by Zakhaev, with that damned Desert Eagle.
Failing to protect him from the shot, time and time again. Even when he tries his best to shield him, it just phases right through him.
Then eventually it’s time for Ghost and Roach to go, and it’s never not devastating.
His transmission over comms is always just a smidge too late, no matter how many times he tries to warn them.
The worst part of it is that they’re not even able to recover the bodies,—Shepherd took care of that and then some.
But the most soul crushing of all—
Soap.
The bloody game has the audacity to give Price and the player some sliver of hope,—that maybe Johnny’ll make it out alive somehow.
Shepherd didn’t manage to kill him,—he survived that near death experience at the very least.—But that all comes crashing down after Modern Warfare 3–“Blood Brothers”.
The most brutal of them all, (in Price’s opinion), and it’s of course for the person he cares about most.
His (essentially) adopted son slowly bleeding to death, as they’re under heavy gunfire and surrounded by enemies on all sides. Before finally kicking the bucket from explosives planted by that bastard Makarov.
Of all people, why did it have to be him?
Yuri is gone before he even really got to know the guy.
So blah blah blah, the cycle continues over and over again, and the loop remains unbroken for a long time.
Price tries everything he can possibly think of, and eventually he runs out of options.
By some miracle however,—perhaps some fault in the game’s coding.—There comes an opportunity to end the cycle.—Price meanwhile, has slowly and progressively lost his mind,—until finally snapping.
After he’d killed Makarov for around the 1,000th time, he can finally end his suffering.
As he watches Makarov’s lifeless body hanging from the rappel, instead of the usual lighter he pulls out to light his cigar, he gains just enough control over his body to pull out his pistol and pull the trigger.
A mass recall of copies of MW3 ensued after the discovery of this “glitch”, due to a outrage within the fan base and community. No matter what the developers and devs tried too, it couldn’t be patched. The game was then rewritten to where Price is the one to die, while Soap lives and is the one to kill Makarov instead. Re-released in 2013.
The idea came to me while listening to/was heavily inspired by the song “S.I.U” by Maretu btw.
If any of you know that song or are familiar, you’re a real one.
Also, is it just me or like does 09’s Makarov not sound and look like fucking Ben Shapiro lmfao??? He more so sounds like him though, or at least he reminds me of Ben Shapiro—

trick or treat!
The door opens to reveal a woman with short hair and pale skin, in a long dress and a friendly smile. A bat is squeaking away on her shoulder and yes you can pet him, he's friendly. The Matron of Bats greets you like she's the nicest aunt and puts red velvet cookies in your candy bag.
She lets you know there is a lovely group of men down the street who enjoy getting new people to come to their door. With a friendly wave she shuts the door.
Upon arriving at the door of the suggested residence, you're a little surprised to find a large figure with skeleton face paint opening the door. He doesn't say anything but doesn't need to as a fanged and mohawked figure greets you. That is a fucking sick costume, and tells the rest of his buddies to come see. You then see a man with a loose pirate costume and more fangs smiling, impressed with your efforts. Following behind is a guy with wolf ears poking out of a cap, and a wolf tail.
They give you a full sized candy bar and then notice you're by yourself. That's not safe. Especially for a human like you. They offer to be a chaperone, if only so they can make sure you get home okay. Don't worry, they don't bite. They know some good houses too, like the woman with the blond hair and the witch costume.
You have a good and safe night. You do find it odd all four men were wearing fangs though.

kinktober day 16: masturbation
captain john soap mactavish being an absolute fucking dog and jacking off thinking about his subordinates. thats the whole fic.
read on AO3 | nonsenseafterdarks list! | word count: 655
"come on..."
soap knew he needed to hurry; he'd asked ghost and roach to meet him at 1930 and it was currently 1925 and he was dressed and almost ready to leave, except that he had his cock out and was fucking into his own fist as hard as he could to try and get off before they got there.
not his fault, really; ghost and roach were the ones that had been acting all ridiculous and flirty when they thought no one was paying attention. he'd heard what he could swear sounded like grown men giggling and rounded a corner to see ghost pressing roach up against a wall while roach groped at his arse like he owned it. they hadn't noticed him, so soap had just stood and watched for a moment while his sergeant and lieutenant had giggled and teased and felt each other up before he realized how much it was affecting him and hurried back to his office.
he'd tried to hold it in, thinking it would be crossing some invisible line to get off thinking about his subordinates fucking, but he'd finally snapped thinking about going out with the two of them tonight and ended up with his hand down his pants, imagining what would happen if he told them to come in first and stay a bit...
he wondered what ghost would look like on his back, legs open, pussy out, whining filth and taking it -
"please john, don't stop, please sir i need it, i need you - "
wondered what roach would look like, bent over, arsehole stretched tight around soap's cock; he could practically hear the sergeant moaning, whining for more, begging to get railed -
soap thought about what they must sound like fucking each other; he was willing to bet they were loud. ghost was never afraid to mouth off when he disagreed with an order and roach rarely said a word at all; soap had fucked around enough in his early twenties to know that guys like the two of them were always the loudest in bed. no, he knew the two of them were loud as all hell and the only reason he'd never heard them was because he didn't live in the barracks.
"come on, sergeant, fuck me harder, give it to me - "
roach probably moaned ghost's name when he came, fuck soap wondered how good it would sound to hear him whining out "john" while he was grinding and bouncing in his lap -
"fuck me, come on," he complained at himself; it was 1928 and ghost was never one to be late, soap knew they'd be on time.
he redoubled his efforts; he wondered what ghost would look like on his back, maybe on a bench in the gym, roach splitting his pussy open while soap shoved his cock so far down his throat he could see it bulge -
"fuck yes," he said under his breath, "take it bitch, come on, take it - "
he closed his eyes, thinking that the warmth of his hand was his lieutenant's throat and with one particularly good twist of his hand he finally came with a harsh grunt, catching it in his hand and immediately regretting it when he heard the doorbell ring.
"shite - "
washing his hands as quickly as he could with probably not quite enough soap and tucking himself back in as he hurried to his front door, soap tried to tell himself that it didn't matter, it was just a wank, he was just going to go have a drink with his lieutenant and sergeant and that would be that.
he pulled the door open. "sir," ghost greeted him; roach smiled and nodded. soap looked them each up and down; he forgot how cute they looked in civilian clothing.
"you boys fancy comin' in for a minute first? i've got a nice scotch we can have a bit of before we head out."
